What makes Auggie's the best sports bar in St. Augustine

Most of St. George Street is built for people passing through. Auggie's is built for people who want to sit down, see the screen, and stay a while.

Auggie's Draft Room interior in downtown St. Augustine with self-serve beer taps, big-screen TVs, bar seating, and a lively sports bar atmosphere.

Twelve screens

Screens run the length of the room and around the bar, angled so there isn't a bad seat in the house.

A 24-tap self-pour wall

Twenty-four taps of beer, wine and cider. Pour your own, try whatever you want, and never lose your seat during a drive.

A dog-friendly patio

Bring your dog. The patio is theirs too, and it's the better seat on a good afternoon.

How the self-pour tap wall works

Never miss a play waiting on a bartender.

The wall is the whole point. Nobody is flagging down a server or standing in line for a round while the game goes on without them.

01

Grab a card at the door

Check in with us on the way in and we'll hand you a tap card. Takes about a minute.

02

Pour whatever you want

Tap the card, pull the handle, pour as much or as little as you like. Two ounces to try something new, a full pint once you've found it.

03

Pay by the ounce

You're charged for exactly what you poured, down to the ounce. Hand the card back on your way out and we'll close you out.

CowboyBurger

Burgers and bar food for game day

Beer is only half of it. The kitchen turns out burgers built for a long afternoon, from a straightforward one done right to the Bacon Donut Burger. And if you're feeling brave, the Auggie's Burger Challenge stacks eight patties and dares you to finish it.

Sports bar questions, answered

Is Auggie’s a good place to watch a game?
Yes. Auggie’s was voted Best Sports Bar in St. Augustine in the 2026 Best of Florida Awards. There are twelve screens across the room, a twenty-four tap self-pour wall, and a kitchen running through the game.
How does the self-pour tap wall work?
You get a tap card when you arrive, pour your own beer, wine or cider from any of the twenty-four taps, and pay by the ounce. Pour two ounces to sample something or a full pint once you’ve found what you like. You settle up when you leave.
Do you take reservations for big games?
No. Seating is first come, first served, and we don’t hold tables. Come early for a big game. If you’re bringing a group, call us at (904) 907-1317 and we’ll let you know how busy we expect to be.
Is the kitchen open the whole time?
The kitchen serves the full menu, including burgers and shareables.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, on the patio. Dogs are welcome at our outdoor tables.
Where do I park near St. George Street?
We’re at 3 St. George St in the historic district.
